Jams over Laquer

I tried our lacquer for the first time Monday.  I joined Jamberry to use the jams, as I'm very hard on my nails and tired of my polish always chipping.  I have had a lot of questions about the lacquer, so I figured I should give it a try.
I was very impressed-it was very thick and spread evenly.  I only needed one coat.
I put on our Pacific color with our lost ruins clear wraps on top.  I did a short video showing how I did this- see below!
Putting Clear Jams over Lacquer

After 6 days, today I got two small chips on my right hand trying to get 2 stuck lego pieces separated for my son.

Jamberry Mini Heater

Q. How is this Mini-Heater an improvement over the previous one?
The new Jamberry Mini-Heater was developed with manicures and nail wraps in mind. The new design is not only more portable and light weight, but the heat is a lot more focused, allowing for better application.
Q. Why did Jamberry come out with a new Mini-Heater?
At Jamberry, good enough is never good enough and the new Mini-Heater is a perfect example of that. The new heater was specifically developed with the Jamberry nail wrap application in mind. The heater provides focused heat and is more portable and lightweight, allowing for easy grab-and-go for home parties, travel, etc. We also wanted to give you a product that is better branded, allowing you as a consultant to better brand you business and have tools that are more recognizable.
Q. How hot does the new heater get?
The heat level isn’t any different than that of the previous heater, 90-110 degrees Fahrenheit.
Q. Does it come with a warranty?
We will replace any heater that is defective or breaks within 90 days from the order date.
Q. Is the application time the same?
The new Jamberry Mini-Heater hasn’t changed any of the application process. You will still heat the wraps for 3-5 seconds. You may need to adjust how close you hold the wrap to the heater due to the smaller surface area of heat and more focused output.
Q. Is the cord detachable?
Yes, it is. The cord does detach and can be folded up and put away for easy travel.
Q. How much does it cost?
The price for the new Mini-Heater is the same as before, $19 USD/$22.50 CAD.
Q. If I have a current heater, can I exchange/upgrade it for a new one (even if the warranty is still good)?
We will not exchange previous mini-heaters with the new model. If it is within your warranty, you will receive an exact replacement. We will not accept any trade-ins or upgrades.
Q. Can I use this heater if I travel abroad?
Please do not use this heater when you travel abroad. The volts needed are different in most countries, and even an adapter will not provide the proper voltage. To avoid electrical issues or a non-working heater, please use other heat methods for application if traveling outside of the U.S. or Canada.
Q. Does the exterior get really hot?
The new mini-heater does get hot during use, so please be careful when handling the heater during and immediately after use.
Q. How does it work?
Plug in your heater and make sure the cord is attached to the Mini-Heater. Next, pull out and extend the metal stand to prop up the heater. Please note that the heat comes out of the top of the heater and not from the opposite side of the plum face. Push the white button on the plum face of the heater. When the button is pushed in, the heat will come out. To turn off, push the white button again so that the button pops up again

What is Jamberry Nail Lacquer?

Have you wondered about our nail laquer? Did you even know we had nail lacquer?  Well we do!
Here are some common questions and answers from Jamberry

What's the difference between lacquer and polish? Lacquer is a way to define a high-end, salon quality polish.

Is it chip resistant? How long will it/should it last? As with any product, different people will have different experiences. No matter the quality of ingredients and formula used, some people may experience chipping or other issues. Jamberry did extensive research to make sure the quality of our lacquer was the highest we could produce and we are very proud of the finished product. In blind tests Jamberry lacquers performance either tied or outscored the competition in all categories from ease of application to durability. It held up extremely well in the testing process and had a higher chip resistance compared to other professional quality lacquers. However, there are always exceptions to the rule. Application error, body chemistry, how active you are with your nails, environmental factors, etc. can affect how well the lacquers perform.

Why is $15 for Jamberry nail lacquer a value? Over the past few years, many polish companies are changing over to be “3-free” formulas that omit harmful dibutyl phthalate (DBP), toluene, and formaldehyde substances. Jamberry has taken it to the next step of being 5-free, which are made without formaldehyde resin and camphor . Our nail lacquer compares to the $20-$40 bottles of professional nail lacquer on the market. Premium products cost more to produce than products with harmful ingredients. Formaldehyde resin is a skin allergen and can remain active for up to three days after your polish has dried. Camphor exposure, especially through inhalation, can be toxic and cause irritation, nausea, dizziness, and headaches.

If you have any other questions in regards to the lacquer, please post them here or on my facebook page!
